Privacy policy
Effective date: October 9, 2026
This policy explains in plain words what Siegebloom collects, why, and what you can do about it. Siegebloom is operated by DotNet Factory LLC. The short version: you play as a guest, we never ask for your email inside the game, there are no ads, and we do not track you across other apps.
Who we are
Siegebloom is operated by DotNet Factory LLC ("we", "us"), the data controller for the information described here. Write to support@siegebloom.com with any privacy question.
Data we collect
The game collects only this:
- A guest account id. The first time you open the game we create a guest account for you. There is no sign-up form, email or password.
- Your Apple account identifier, only if you choose Sign in with Apple on iPhone to keep your progress across devices. Apple gives us an opaque id; we never see your Apple password, and we do not request your email.
- Your display name, the name shown next to your scores on the leaderboards.
- Gameplay telemetry: your runs and their results, scores, stars, Seeds and Greenhouse unlocks, plus in-game events such as runs started and finished and screens viewed. This is how we verify leaderboard scores and tune the difficulty.
- Crash reports: when the app crashes or hits an error, a diagnostic report with the device model, OS version, app version and the error.
- Purchase entitlement state: whether your account owns the Full Campaign. Payment itself is handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
We do not collect your email address inside the game, your contacts, your location, your photos, or an advertising identifier.
On this website
If you join the waitlist on siegebloom.com, we store the email address, the platform you choose, and the address of the page that linked you to our site (if your browser shares it) so we can tell you when the game launches and see where signups come from. That is the only way we ever hold your email.
The website also counts page views with a random identifier kept in your browser. It sets no cookies and is not linked to your game account.
How we use it
We use this data to run your account and save your progress, check that leaderboard scores came from real runs, unlock the Full Campaign when you buy it, fix crashes, and understand in aggregate which regions are too hard or too easy.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data, show ads, or use it to build advertising profiles. We share it only with the service providers that run parts of the game for us, under contract:
- Cloud hosting for the game servers and database.
- RevenueCat, which checks your App Store or Google Play purchase and tells the game you own the Full Campaign.
- Sentry, which receives crash reports.
- Apple and Google, who process your purchase and, if you use it, Sign in with Apple.
We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Your choices
You can turn off in-game analytics at any time in Settings, then Gameplay analytics. You can delete your account whenever you like, as described below.
Account deletion and retention
Delete your account in the game from Settings, then Legal & privacy, then Delete account. If you cannot open the game, email support@siegebloom.com or follow the steps on the delete account page.
Deletion starts a 30-day grace period. Signing back in to the same account during that time cancels it. After 30 days your account and the personal data tied to it are permanently erased. We keep limited records longer only where the law requires it.
To remove a waitlist email, write to support@siegebloom.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how we use it. We rely on our contract with you to provide the game, and on our legitimate interest in fair leaderboards, security and fixing bugs. For California residents: we collect identifiers, app activity and diagnostics, and we do not sell or share personal information. To use any of these rights, write to support@siegebloom.com.
Children
Siegebloom is made for players 16 and over. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above. Questions go to support@siegebloom.com. See also our terms of service.
